Three Words I Implement To Accomplish My Goals Repeatedly
Setting goals is important, but an unaccomplished goal is as good as not making any.
Here are three words I have used to achieve my goals repeatedly, and how you can implement them to attain success.
Before we dive in, let me first emphasize the importance of writing your goals down. When you have a goal, write it down. The human mind is more committed to things that can be seen than our mare thoughts. I’m not asking that you make a billboard out of your goals. I simply advise that you write it down somewhere, even if you don’t have plans of sharing with anyone, yet.
In the space below, write down three personal or professional goals that will transform your life once accomplished. These might be goals you have had in mind, but have never truly committed to them. Take the first step towards making a commitment now, by writing them down. Secondly, include expected completion dates for each goal. Aligning your goals with timelines helps you rate your progress and completion rates.

Now that you have your goals written down:
Be Determined
Make a firm decision about working on at least one goal each day, every day. Make a secondary list on what you need and the people you need in your circle execute each goal. Go through your list daily and attack at least one thing on each list. It may simply be sending out an email to a potential sponsor, sending a speaker request, working on your business plan, etc. Do at the minimum one thing daily. Also note that you don’t have to work on all three goals simultaneously if they are very unrelated. You can commit to the most important goal on your list, the one that has the most impact towards transforming your life and commit to it. Once you have attained desired results, move to the next goal. An interesting fact is that often, when you accomplish your most valuable goal, everything else falls in place. Whether you make the decision to work on each goal concurrently or one goal at a time, make a firm decision to do so daily and unwaveringly.
Be Intentional
The productive way to get desired results is to align your purpose and passion with your skills. When you do something you are great at, and also have the passion for, you become unstoppable. Your skills will get things done, but it is your purpose and passion that will take you through those days that you feel defeated and want to give up. Aligning your skills, purpose and passion provides the motivation and intentions needed to keep moving one step forward towards accomplishing your goals.
Be Consistent
To be effective and take your goals to the finish line, where you see and experience the transformation you desire, you have to be consistent with your execution. Make a conscious decision to follow through. Do what you say you would do. Meet promises to your clients, with your number one client being yourself. If you have a schedule stick with it. And when that schedule no longer serves you, make changes, then stick with the new schedule. It could be something as simple as consistency with your social media accounts, live videos or blogs. People notice when you are consistent and that helps build your credibility and brand.
Implementing these three words in my goal setting strategy has helped me tremendously accomplish my goals repeatedly, one of which was writing this book. I must add that I also meditate and pray over my goals. Before I go to bed each night, I acknowledge what I accomplished that day and pray over my list of ‘to-dos’ for the next day.
